| I have a 2005 3480 rigged with the Suzuki DF250's. Error codes began a few weeks ago on the Port engine. The code is for a CKP (Crank Position) sensor. When error code appears this engine will (usually) not crank. Swapped the sensors and the error code repeated again on the Port engine. Swapped ECM's with the same results (error again on Port engine only). All mechanics and Suzuki reps have claimed no known ECM's or CKP sensor failures to date and factory manuals indicate that the most likely culprit is electrical feed to this engine. Yes, batteries are all clean and fully charged, and I have combined batteries to no success. Local Suzuki mechanic looked at the electrical rigging on the boat and was concerned about all the central electrical "blocks" and relative long runs of the electrical cables (I do not know if this was a factory rigging or dealer). Has anyone experienced a similar problem, or other problems related to electrical and engine starting?
